WOODBRIDGE,Va — A Man awaits extradition for Rape and Aggravated Sexual Battery that were said to have occurred from 1991 -1999.

On October 8th, detectives from the Special Victims Bureau began an investigation into a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 12100 block of Salemtown Dr in Woodbridge (22192) between 1991 and 1999.
The investigation revealed that the victim, a 9 year old girl when the incidents began, was sexually assaulted on several occasions during the time frame above by the accused, a known acquaintance.
Following the investigation, detectives obtained multiple warrants against the accused. The accused was located and arrested at his current residence in Teaneck, New Jersey on October 30th where he will await extradition.
