NOKESVILLE, Va. — Police divers are searching the Engh Pond in Nokesville for a fisherman missing since last night.
Boats, a police helicopter, and officers on the ground are all searching for the yet-to-be identified man.
The missing man’s boat was found last night and was towed back to shore, but rescue crews did not find the man’s body.
Those who know the man declined to give his name and referred to him as “Bubba.” They said is is an avid fisherman who frequents the pond and lives nearby.
Engh Pond sits near Aden Road and Trotters Ridge Place, surrounded by several large homes all sitting nearby an acre of land each.
