FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. -- A crash in Fairfax County claimed the life of a Manassas man early Sunday.
Abraham Aragon, 44, of Soldiers Ridge Circle, was pronounced dead on the scene after Aragon drove his 1993 Mazda MX3 coupe northbound in the southbound lanes of Fairfax County Parkway, just north of Braddock Road, according to police. Several drivers were able to swerve and avoid the Mazda, but the car did strike a 2002 Toyota Avalon head on at 1:40 a.m. Sunday.
The occupants of the Avalon, a 30-year-old man and 29-year-old woman from Camp Hill, Pa., were taken to a local hospital and treated for injuries that did not appear to be life threatening, police said. The female, however, was pregnant, and the baby was delivered and now is in serious condition.
