In Memoriam: Meada F. Pearson

Meada F. Pearson, 81 of Woodbridge, passed away on September 13, 2013 at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by her previous husbands, Gene Gerard, and Ashton Shifflett; sisters, Iva Lohr, Amanda Graham, Georgia Fair, and Annie Eckard; brothers, Sam Eckard, Paul Echkard, and Darlow Eckard. She is survived by her husband, Robert Pearson; her children, Nancy Cornwell (Denny), Mary Lou Thompson (Danny), Bubby Shifflett (Rita), Doris Shifflett, and Betty Passman; step-children, Robert Pearson (Wendy), Brian Pearson, and Cindy Pearson; 16 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Mary Lohr.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 6pm to 9pm at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 13318 Occoquan Rd. Woodbridge, VA 22191. A Life Celebration service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 11:30am, followed by interment at Stafford Memorial Park, Stafford Memorial Park.
