Lillian T. Knight, 94, of Stafford County, passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mrs. Knight was a member of Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church. She had retired as clerk of the circuit court for Stafford and volunteered with the Stafford Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxilliary and the Stafford Volunteer Rescue Squad Ladies Auxilliary.
Survivors include grandchildren Curt Alvis and Kimberly Burnette (Donald); great-grandchildren Suzanne Nicole Alvis, Connor Alvis and Megan Burnette; and niece Linda Boutchyard.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday, Sept. 19 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A service will be held at noon Friday, Sept. 20 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church, 1732 Brooke Rd., Stafford, VA 22554.
