DUMFRIES, Va.– Police arrest a 42-year-old man on child pornography charges.

On September 4th, members of the Northern Virginia-DC Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force continued an investigation into child pornography with the execution of a search warrant at 74 Dumfries Rd in Dumfries (22026).
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a cybertip in regard to online communication involving the accused and child pornography.
The investigation revealed that the accused was in possession of child pornography via a social media account. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.
The investigation continues.
