Burglaries Prompt Crime Solvers Offer Reward

WOODBRIDGE, Va — Multiple burglaries in the area have authorities asking for information, and they’re willing to pay for it.

 Commercial Burglaries | Attempted Commercial Burglaries – Between August 16th and August 18th, multiple commercial burglaries or attempted commercial burglaries in the Woodbridge and Dumfries areas were reported to the Prince William County Police Department.

Entry into the businesses were made or attempted through the front glass door during the overnight hours. In cases were entry was made, an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.

The Property Crimes Unit is still investigating these cases as possibly being connected. Anyone with information relating to the below cases is asked to call Crime Solvers at 703-670-3700 or 1-866-411-TIPS. You don’t have to give your name, just the information. You could earn up to a $1,000 cash reward.

Commercial Burglaries

– On August 18th at 7:16AM, police responded to the Clippers Barber Shop located at 13234 Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. The business owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00PM on August 17th and 7:16AM on August 18th.

Entry was made into the business through the front glass door which had been broken out. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.

The owner of neighboring business, Top Nails located at 13231 Occoquan Rd, also reported to police that an unknown person(s) made entry into that business by breaking out the front glass door during the same time frame. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was also reported missing from that burglary.
