MANASSAS, Va. — Police are on the lookout for three black males wearing black or gray hooded sweatshirts for an attempted strong armed robbery.

Attempted Strong Armed Robbery – On August 15, 2013 at 11:21PM, police responded to the area of 10920 Coverstone Drive, Manassas (20109) for a robbery.
The victim, a 24 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he was riding his bike in the above area when he was approached by three unknown males.
Two of the men allegedly punched the victim in the face and held him down while attempting to remove his backpack. The third man allegedly attempted to remove items from the victim’s pocket.
All three men departed from the area when the victim yelled for assistance. No items were reported as taken from victim. A minor injury was reported.
