Quantico Tactical Supplier to Match Funds Raised for Quantico Fireworks Show

QUANTICO, Va. — The Town of Quantico will hold a party on Labor Day weekend.

The “Salute to Our Troops” fireworks show will be a free event with music and food. It’ll be a chance for the town to say thank you to U.S. service members for their service to the nation.

And, there’s also a challenge set forth from personal arms supplier Quantico Tactical. The company that was started in the small town by a Marine and has now expanded nationwide will match up to $4,000 of the cost to offset the cost of the fireworks.

More in a press release from Quantico Mayor Kevin Brown:

Quantico Tactical, a premier source of performance apparel, gear, tactical medical supplies, armor and firearms for federal agencies, law enforcement, military and the serious adventure enthusiast, has generously pledged $4,000 of matching funds toward the overall cost of the fireworks show.

Quantico Tactical is owned and operated by retired Marine Corps Major David Hensley. Any corporation or individual wishing to partner with the town and Quantico Tactical in funding this event should contact the town office at (703) 640-7411 or go to gofundme.com/3u12l4. Each dollar donated to this effort will be matched dollar for dollar by Quantico Tactical up to $4,000.

The fireworks fund had $132 by 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The festival will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday August 31, and will feature Former Marine and Nashville recording artist Tyler Toliver will be performing the National Anthem.

Founded in 1927, the Town of Quanitco is the only town in the U.S. completely surrounded by a military installation.

Inspired by local physicians who were among the nation’s first to adopt the concierge medicine model, Northern Virginia is now a hub for its surging popularity. These leading physicians are redefining the patient experience with same-day appointments, direct availability, unhurried visits, and deeply personalized care:

After almost 40 years in practice, Manassas-based Internist John Cary, MD’s change to concierge medicine enabled focused attention for each individual, and the launch of his innovative diet program for those with type 2 diabetes. “The goal is to promote enough weight loss to reach an acceptable A1C of 6% with no medication,” he explains. “Achieving that can take several months of very close follow up. As I tell my patients, we are in this together.”

Jay Tyroler, MD considers his patients quite literally as family. “I believe there’s nothing more honorable than helping patients when they’re sick, or scared, or feeling vulnerable, and I care for them exactly as I would my loved ones.” Whether for a specialist referral, urgent health issue or ongoing follow up, “My patients know I’m always just a phone call away.”
