This past weekend, the Manassas BATtle 7-year old baseball team won the Varina Youth Sports Invitational Tournament.
Their championship was two weeks in the making, as Manassas traveled to the Richmond area two weeks prior only to have the tournament completely rained out.
Manassas went undefeated over the weekend. Their first win of the tournament came against New Kent, with a 3-0 shutout in which the BATtle defense held New Kent to just two hits.
