WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A man and his friend were walking along on 2-way street in Woodbridge. A car came by and struck one of them and dragged the victim, and then sped off.
Now police are looking for a damaged vehicle.

On July 15th at 10:12PM, police responded to investigate a hit and run which was reported to have occurred in the area of Walnut St and Colchester Rd in Woodbridge (22191). The victim, a 21 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and a friend were walking along the side of the road in the area above when a vehicle, traveling at a high rate of speed, struck him.
After striking the vehicle, the victim reported that he was dragged about 15 feet before the suspect vehicle stopped. The driver then put the vehicle in reverse and drove around the victim. The vehicle fled at high rate of speed and proceeded through a red light at Colchester Rd and Featherstone Rd. The victim or his friend were unable to see the driver because the vehicle had dark tinted windows.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle is likely to have damage to the front right side and/or grill area.
Vehicle Description:
Black, newer model, 4-door Chevrolet sedan, possibly an Impala model
Vehicle reportedly had dark tinted windows and a tinted, smoked colored license plate cover
