For the lovers of fried dough, whether it comes glazed, powered, chocolate covered or cream-filled, all are celebrating today as it’s is National Doughnut Day.
While many flocked to area doughnut shops to celebrate the sweet goodness that are doughnuts, even police in our area got into the spirit.
Prince William police posted to their Facebook page today a photo of officer Jonathan Perok posing with a Dunkin Donuts employee.
Even police in Montgomery County, Md. also showed they enjoyed the day, posting an image to their Facebook page of police cars outside of a Dunkin Donuts which stated, “yes, we are aware it’s National Donut Day.”
