Arria Wright was located by her mother, Fairfax County Police stated.
“All we are able to say is that our agency investigated this missing person as a runaway.,” stated spokeswoman Lucy Caldwell in an email.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — Arria Wright has been missing for more than a week. The 16-year-old was last seen in Fairfax County, – with two friends at Tysons Corner Center mall – and now police want your help in locating her.
Arria is also a member of the Prince William Boys and Girls Club. Officials there say the child frequented the Hylton Club in Dale City, and added staff there are praying for her safe return.
The child is black, 5 feet 3 inches tall, with brown hair, 120 pounds, with braces, last seen wearing a dark pink hoodie, jeans, and a pink backpack.
Police in Fairfax County are investigating the case, and Prince William police on their Facebook said the missing child not only has ties to that county but also to Washington, D.C.
Anyone with information on her disappearance is encouraged to call police.
