WOODBRIDGE, Va. –– Officers were called Wednesday after a mob beat up a 24-year-old man.
Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said the victim went to the area of Featherstone Road and Sycamore Street in Woodbridge to meet a group of men. While there during the early morning hours of Wednesday, the men assaulted the victim, knocked him to the ground, went through his pockets but didn’t take anything, and then fled, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life threatening, though they were serious, police added.
In a press release, Perok provided descriptions of the men said to have been involved in the assault:
White male, between 18 & 19 years of age, 5’10”, 140lbs, with a thin build, short brown hair, brown eyes, and an unshaven face
Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark colored jeans
Black male, between 50 & 55 years of age, 5’10”, 150lbs, with a thin build, gray hair, brown eyes, and a goatee
Last seen wearing a t-shirt and dark colored sweat pants
Black male, between 25 & 30 years of age, 6’0”, 170lbs, with a thin build, short black hair, brown eyes, and a goatee
Last seen wearing a gray pullover hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants
Black male, between 20 & 25 years of age, 5’10”, 150lbs, with a thin build, long black deadlocks, brown eyes, and an unshaven face
Last seen wearing a t-shirt and dark colored pants
White male, between 25 & 30 years of age, 5’9”, 140lbs, with a thin build, long black curly hair, brown eyes, and a goatee
