WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A fire broke out at 2:23 a.m. for a townhouse fire in the Rippon Landing section of Woodbridge.
The blaze was reported to have been at 15372 Grist Mill Terrace, off Old Kings Road near Rippon Boulevard.
OWL Volunteer Fire Department has more information:
Initial units arrived on scene within minutes and reported smoke coming from a second floor window. The fire was located in a second floor bedroom and was under control within five minutes.
American Red Cross was called and assisted the occupants with temporary housing. The cause of the fire is unknown. Fire and Rescue units from OWL VFD, Dale City VFD, PWCDF&R and PWC PD responded to the incident.
