Two men who have been on the run from police for nearly a week are now in custody in a Florida jail.
The two brothers, Christopher Tolliver, 27, and Douglas Tolliver, 29, are suspects in the shooting death of Tasheka Leavell, 35, who was shot and killed inside of her Dumfries home Thursday.

Murder *ADDITIONAL ARRESTS – On January 23rd, the U.S. Marshals’ Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals’ Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, located the 2 remaining suspects involved in the murder which was reported in the 17600 block of Washington St in Dumfries on January 17th. Both suspects were located at an address in North Palm Beach, Florida where they were apprehended without incident. Both men are in police custody and will remain in jail until they are extradited back to Prince William County.

A third suspect who is also related to the two suspects arrested in Florida was arrested at his home in Prince William County on Sunday.

Fredericksburg City Public Schools (FCPS) students and staff were honored at the Virginia General Assembly for their work on the FCPS Youth Mental Health Taskforce. The delegation, invited by State Senator Tara Durant, spent the day in Richmond serving as legislators and meeting with state officials.
