Police Search for Tractor Stolen from Manassas Business

MANASSAS, Va. — Police need your help in finding out who burglarized a tractor store in Manassas.

The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in providing information about a burglary which was reported to have occurred at Byrd Tractor Inc. in the Manassas area of Prince William County.

On January 18th at 8:48AM, police responded to Byrd Tractor Inc. located at 7274 Centreville Rd in Manassas (20111) for a burglary. Employees reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00PM on January 17th and 8:00AM on January 18th. The investigation revealed that an unknown person(s) removed a lock from the fence belonging to an adjacent business and drove a vehicle into a garage belonging to the above company.

Both businesses share a lot and business space. Once there, the suspect(s) removed several large pieces of equipment, including 3 mowers, a recreational utility vehicle, snow blower and a generator, valued around $50,000.
