We warmed you. Virginia Railway Express warned you. And now we know that VRE’s Santa Train Tickets sold online starting at 9 a.m. sold out in just four minutes.
That’s 3,605 tickets to ride special trains on the commuter railroad’s Fredericksburg and Manassas lines where Santa will be on board Dec. 8.
This is a popular event each year and tickets always sell out fast.
VRE spokesman Mark Roeber said it’s a possibility that individual vendors have a few tickets left for the Santa Trains, but they don’t yet know which ones have them.
The Santa Trains are used to raise awareness for rail safety and Project Lifesaver.
