Strangulation – On October 17th at 9:30AM, police responded to Woodbridge Senior High School, located at 3001 Old Bridge Road in Woodbridge (22192), for an assault.
The investigation revealed that the victim, a 15-year-old male of Woodbridge, was in a restroom within the school along with a group of other students, including the accused, a known acquaintance.
During the encounter, the accused became upset and placed his arm around the neck of the victim. The victim became limp, at which point, the accused dropped him to the floor causing the victim to hit his head on the concrete floor.
The victim was flown to an area hospital as a precaution. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently charged and released to parents.
