A star is born at the Manassas Club pep rally. Staff members at the Manassas Boys & Girls Club recently organized a pep rally to inject energy and club spirit into its members.
The pep rally was a celebration of the new school year that included dancing, trivia, and sports competitions.
The final competition was a three point shoot out in which 20 children participated. 11-year-old Koby Kelly made an impressive seven three pointers in two minutes in the first round to make it to the finals.
In the final round, Koby outlasted two other competitors by sinking three shots in 60 seconds. Afterward, Koby summed up his emotions in three words, “It feels great!”
