Stafford Store Robbed at Gunpoint

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — A convenience store in Stafford County was robbed by two men at gunpoint.

The county’s sheriff’s office today distributed surveillance photos of the two men that investigators said walked into a 7-Eleven at 1 Commerce Parkway in south Stafford at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, produced handguns, and then demanded cash.

The store clerk took out cash drawer from the register, placed it on the counter, and the armed intruders took the money from the drawer and fled, said sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.

In a press release, Kennedy describes what the two men looked like:

The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’8’ with facial hair and a partial beard weighing between 180 – 200 pounds. The suspect was wearing a blue baseball hat with white stripes and dimensions, a black shirt, khaki pants, black shoes and was also wearing a white football receiver type of gloves and sunglasses. The suspect also had a tattoo with three teardrops on his right cheek. He was carrying a silver handgun.

The second suspect is a black male, approximately 6’0” weighing 175 – 185 pounds. He had a black shirt draped over his head and was wearing a dark blue shirt, dark jeans and white sneakers. This suspect was displaying a black handgun.

Anyone with information about the two men is encouraged to contact Stafford Crime Solvers.
