DUMFRIES, Va. — The General Heiser Boys & Girls Club Branch in Dumfries is preparing to reopen their doors after a three-year hiatus from being a fully operational club.
The club is having a “reunion” and ribbon-cutting ceremony tonight. It’s going to be a great event with all the alumni who attended the club over the years will be in attendance.
The Boys & Girls Clubs have strong ties with their former members from the past. They are the ones who built the foundation for the young people who are members today.
As they begin their journey to their futures. The motto for the Boys & Girls Club still rings true as it did back then: Great Futures start here.
