FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — Lucinda the horse was cut once again, and with one person already behind bars police want to know who is behind the continued animal attacks.
Someone used a knife to inflict a non-life threatening wound to Lucinda between 8 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday. She’s one of three horses that were slashed at Frying Pan Park in Fairfax County on April 26. This latest attack happened on a property adjacent to the park, police said.
Two goats, a calf and a chicken were also cut during the weekend of May 26 and 27 at Frying Pan Park.
On June 25, police arrested a 17-year-old Herndon boy in connection to the animal slashings. The teen remains at a juvenile detention center.
Anyone who has information on this latest slashing is urged to contact Fairfax County police.
