PTRC Email System Down, Call Instead

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — The Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission is having problems with their internet connection this morning.

A spokeswoman for the transit agency said anyone trying to reach PRTC via email should instead call their customer service phone number at 703-730-6664.

The outage has not affected bus routing, and all routes continue to operate on time, officials said.

Since the application that transit system uses to update callers about outages is web based, callers did not hear any notification informing them of today’s outage.

The outage is prompted by this past weekend’s violent storm that brought down power lines across the region.
