It takes a lot to keep a community of this size clean. But there are some dedicated individuals who work hard to do just that.
I’ll be joining Keep Prince William Beautiful at 9 a.m. Saturday for the annual Route 1 Clean Up. I’m told to meet outside the old Five Guys restaurant at Marumsco Plaza in Woodbridge to pick up some supplies and some always appreciated refreshments, and then we’ll begin working out way along U.S. 1, picking up litter and whatever else we find during our walk.
A good friend of mine and a good friend to our Potomac Communities, Kayne Karnbach of Keep Prince William Beautiful, invited me to participate in this year’s event. Karnbach and others in the group have enthusiastically rallied many residents who have all done their parts in keeping the Potomac Communities clean. We salute them. And, if you know Karnbach and have heard him talk about his car, we also salute his undying love for his electric Nissan Leaf.
