UPDATE 2:50 p.m.
Police in Woodbridge made an arrest in a bank robbery that took place just before 2 p.m.
“At 1:39 p.m, police responded to the Bank of America on [Route] 1 for a reported bank robbery. Police arrived quickly and we able to locate and arrest the suspect after he fled from the bank,” according to the Prince William County Police Department.
The idenidty of the suspect has not yet been released. We’ll have more on this as it develops.
UPDATE 2:30 p.m.
Prince William schools officials give all clear at Fred M. Lynn Middle School in Woodbridge following the robbery of a nearby Bank of America location.
Police are still searching for a suspect in the case.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A Bank of America at 13976 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge was robbed before 2 p.m. today. A large police presence is reported to be outside the bank at this hour.
Police are searching for a person suspected of fleeing the scene on foot, according to reports. Officials with Prince William County Public Schools say they have placed nearby Fred M. Lynn Middle School on secure the building mode. Parents have been urged not to call or visit the school at this time.
