Virginia Railway Express CEO Dale Zehner will take question during an online forum at noon.
VRE officials said Zehner will try to answer as many questions about the commuter rail service as he can in an hour. The railroad regularly uses online forums to communicate with its riders.
Go to vre.org/chatterbox to particpate in the discussion. Those who can’t participate can submit questions early and then check back to see if they were answered, VRE officials state.
This will be one of the last public chat sessions held by Zehner, who announced earlier this year he would retire from his post at chief of Virginia’s only commuter railroad.
He was VRE’s first named CEO and was appointed to the job in 1995 after a long career in the U.S. Navy.
