Woodbridge, Va. — Democrats will meet with Republicans on Thursday in Woodbridge to discuss the upcoming legislative session.
Virginia’s General Assembly reconvenes in Richmond Jan. 12 11 for 60 days, and both state senators and delegates want to hear from residents about their concerns. Legislators will also share information about the upcoming session.
As of Wednesday, Sen. George Barker (D-39, Alexandria, Fairfax, Prince William), Del. Richard Anderson (R-51, Prince William), Del. Luke Torian, D-52, Dumfries, Occoquan, Woodbridge) Del. Scott Lingamfelter (R-31, Woodbridge) and Del. Elect Mark Dudenhefer (R-2, Stafford, Woodbridge) have confirmed they attend the meeting,.
The event will be held at 7 p.m. in Room 107 of the Development Services Building in the Prince William County Government Center, located at 5 County Complex Court in Woodbridge.
Organizers say all elected members of the General Assembly that represent eastern Prince William County were invited.
