Racial slurs lead to fight
A Woodbridge man riding his moped in Manassas was assaulted when he stopped at a traffic signal, police said.
The 23-year-old victim was riding in the area of Prince William Parkway and Liberia Avenue at 7:42 p.m. Wednesday when a car pulled up and the occupants inside began telling racial slurs at the rider, said police.
Two of the three occupants inside the car got out and assaulted the man, said police. The rider suffered minor injuries and the attackers fled as soon as police arrived.
The fight appeared to break out because the moped was traveling slowing on the road, said police.
ATV stolen
An ATV was reported stolen from a home in the 400 block of Winding Creek Road in Stafford.
The red 2007 Honda TRX 250 was last seen on Nov. 10 and was reported stolen to police this week.
The vehicles was housed in a garage and is valued at $2,500, said police.

Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:15AM on November 19th and 8:00AM on November 26th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
Burglary – On December 1st at 2:12AM, police responded to the 5500 block of Roundtree Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that she was in the kitchen when she observed a sliding glass door shut and figure through the curtain. The
unknown person fled. There were no signs of forced entry. The door appeared to have been left unsecured. No entry was made into the residence.
Burglary – November 30th at 2:08PM, police responded to the 14400 block of Filarete St in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM and 1:30PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear sliding glass door which had been broken out. 2 TV’s, a gaming console, related games and jewelry, valued around $5,000, were reported missing.
Burglary – On November 29 that 9:30PM, police responded to the 14100 block of Renegade Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for an alarm. Police arrived and discovered a rear window and door were open. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured window or door. No items were reported missing.
Burglary – On November 29th at 8:18PM, police responded to the 14600 block of Springbrook Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for an alarm. Police arrived and discovered a rear window which had been broken out. No items were reported missing.
Burglary – On November 28th at 5:16PM, police responded to the 14000 block of Ermine Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:15AM and 5:00PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear basement window which had been broken out. Several items, mostly electronics, valued around $10,000 were reported missing. The homeowner’s vehicle, a 2010 beige, 4 door, Toyota Camry with VA license plate XNU-2476, was also reported missing.
Burglary – On November 27th at 4:56PM, police responded to the 15300 block of Gunsmith Tr in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:01PM on November 25th and 3:00PM on November 27th. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear sliding door which had been broken out. A laptop, valued around $1,500, was reported missing.
