Woodbridge, Va. -- BMX riders will descend on Woodbridge this weekend for the Virginia State Championship Series Qualifier.
The action will take place behind Richard G. Pfitzner Stadium at the NOVA BMX Park Authority Track, where more than 140 riders are expected to race, said fellow and Prince William School Board member Lisa Bell.
“Series Champions in each age and proficiency level will be determined through the Total Points Series beginning with Qualifiers and capped off with the Championship Final Event in Winchester on Oct. 22. Qualified Racers will be invited to participate in the USA Bicycle League's 2011 President's Cup Competition, held in Oklahoma November 2011, representing the Commonwealth of Virginia,” said Bell.
