Fire crews report blaze has been contained.

Dumfries, Va. — Several small fires have sparked along Joplin Road in the area of the entrance to Prince William Forest Park.

Fire crews were called to the area about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday after a report of a tree that fell onto a power line, which subsequently sparked a blaze in the surrounding wooded area, according to initial reports.

There are no reports of any injuries, however, police closed a portion of Joplin Road between area near the park entrance and Aden Road, near the Prince William Count y Public Schools Administration building.

Reports indicate at least one of the fires was moving into the National Park.
