Lake Ridge, Va. –– A man was flown to the hospital following what appears to be a suspicious fire in Lake Ridge.

Sources say an unidentified man was badly burned during a domestic incident between him and a female about 9 p.m., at 11739 Gascony Place off Springwoods Drive, sources say.

It’s not clear what precipitated in the incident, but police can be seen inside the house conducting an investigation.

Neighbors stood outside the home Monday consoling teenagers and children who were looked on as police and fire crews blocked their normally quiet street.

The victim was flown by helicopter from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Old Bridge Road and Springwoods Drive.

We’ll have more on this story as it develops.
