The torch is passed

It took teamwork to carry the Olympic Torch across the Falmouth Bridge this morning. Stafford Special Olympians passed the torch to the Fredericksburg Police Department at the city line. Stafford Sheriff’s join other law enforcement agencies each year to escort the relay runners as they carry the torch to the Special Olympics Virginia Summer Games in Richmond.  (Marty van Duyne)
