At least one person has died this morning and several others are injured after a bus crashed on Interstate 95.

The crash happened at 4:55 a.m. at northbound mile post 103 in Caroline County, just south of the Carmel Church exit.

A portion of the highway has been closed and traffic diverted off the highway at mile post 98 at Kings Dominion, directed onto U.S. 1, and then routed back to I-95 north, said Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller.
