Virginia Railway Express commuters who use the Rippon station could soon see a parking garage built there. The parking deck would be part of a larger project to bring more residential and commercial property to that section of Woodbridge, Insidenova.com reports.
Legislative recap dinner planned
Area business leaders have been invited by the Mt. Vernon Chamber of Commerce to get a recap of the latest Virginia General Assembly session at a dinner next Thursday night. The event will feature Senators Toddy Puller and George Barker, as well as State Delegates Dave Albo, David Englin, Mark Sickles, and Scott Surovell. The chamber will charge $35 per person to attend the event.
