Prince William County, Va. –– A series of crashes kept police in eastern Prince William County busy.
A Dodge Caravan struck the rear of a Prince William County Public Schools bus at the intersection of Dumfries Road (Va. 234) and Carrs Brooke Way at 9:52 p.m. Wednesday.
The driver of the van was flown to an area hospital, and an adult and a 15-year-old girl that were onboard the school bus were also taken to a local hospital.
The van was traveling west on Va. 234 when it struck the bus that had already stopped at a signal light at the intersection, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.
All of the injuries suffered in the crash appeared to be non-life threatening, said Perok.
Avorey Deloris Spencer-Horsley, 57, of Manassas, faces reckless driving charges in the crash.
And there were two crashes that involved pedestrians Thursday.
A 19-year-old Woodbridge man faces charges after police said he walked into the path of oncoming traffic and did not use a crosswalk, at 5:19 p.m. Thursday.

A similar incident happened on the same road about two-hours later in the 14200 block of U.S. 1 at the Hendrick Honda dealership.
A 31-year-old man tried to cross U.S. 1 outside of a crosswalk and was hit by a 2001 Volkswagen Passat, said Perok.
