Park fees could rise in Fairfax

Fairfax County, Va. –– Going to a county park in Fairfax may soon cost you more.

The Fairfax County Park Authority wants to raise the fees it charges park users by eight percent.

As part of their proposal, the price for adults to use park services could rise from $9.15 to $9.90 and a monthly pass could go from $96.50 to $104, reports the Annandale, VA blog.

A public meeting on the proposed increases will be held at 7 p.m. February 2, in the Herrity Building, room 106, at 12055 Government Center Parkway in Fairfax.
