Two adults were displaced when a fire that originated in a second floor bedroom ripped through a home on Marisa Court, off Madison Farms Drive and Minnieville Road in Woodbridge.

The blaze caused massive damage to the home’s roof.

Officials after flames were extinguished said the cause of the fire is accidental, and it caused $200,000 in damage to the home.

Extensive fire was seen coming from the roof of the house, and fire crews had to make a determination to battle the blaze from either inside the home to pull back and douse the blaze from outside, according to initial reports.
