Firefighter charged with DUI

Update 3:15 p.m.

The firefighter charged with DUI on Monday is a volunteer with OWL Volunteer Fire Department in Woodbridge, but officials stress he was not on company time when he was arrested.

OWL VFD Chief Jim McAllister said Pottier was operating his own vehicle and was not on duty, and when he was arrested, did not identify himself to police as a volunteer firefighter.
