WOODBRIDGE – Crews worked Tuesday night to contain a gas leak in a Woodbridge neighborhood.
Fire and Rescue crews were called to the 1200 block of East Longview Drive about 8:30 p.m. for a report of a leaking one-inch gas main.
No one was evacuated, but officials did close a portion of the two lane street, near Marumsco Acres Park, according to initial reports.
The gas leak was later capped Wednesday morning by crews from Washington Gas, said Prince William Fire and Rescue Department spokeswoman Kim Hylander.
