8 goats stolen from Stafford homes

Stafford County authorities are looking for someone who stole eight goats. 

Here’s more in a press release from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office: 

On Saturday, January 16, 2016 at approximately 9:00 am, Animal Control Officers responded to Equestrian Drive in reference to the theft of 3 goats.  The owner reports that 3 goats had been stolen from a shelter area to the rear of their home.  Also stolen were items to include a wheel barrel and a huff trimmer.

At approximately 4:30 pm on Saturday, Animal Control Officers received another call in reference to the theft of goats.  This time Animal Control Officers were called to a residence off of Green Acre Drive.  The owner reported the theft of 5 goats from a barn located to the rear of the residence.  

The thefts in both cases are believed to have occurred sometime after 4:00 pm on Friday January 15, 2016 and 8:00 am on Saturday, January 16, 2016.
