Helen Theresa Englert

Helen Theresa Englert, 98, of Haymarket, passed away on May 12, 2014 in Leesburg Virginia. 

A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Gainesville, Virginia on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. 

Helen was born in Jamaica Queens, New York to Anna Catherine Kolb, Homemaker and Frederick Joseph Kranz, NY Firefighter on September 13, 1915. After many years raising a family, she worked as a receptionist at Elpa Marketing on Long Island and later as a Home Care Provider. A very creative woman, she enjoyed art, crafting, gardening, reading and her great grand children. She was a tender and loving soul who met everybody with a smile. 

Helen became the matriarch of the family following the death of her parents, Anna and Frederick, her five brothers, William, Frederick, Herbert, Joseph, and John and her three sisters, Katherine, Dorothy and Ruthmary. 

Helen is survived by her four daughters, Barbara, Margaret, Frances and Susan, her six grandchildren, Robert, Kathryn, Chelsea, Taylor, Cameron and Madison and by her six great grandchildren, Eli, Lola, Jude, Billie, Anna and Aurora.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to The Loudoun Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leesburg and Capital Caring Palliative Care team for their support in her final days. 

Helen is resting with God, something that she had been looking forward to all of her long life.
