McDonalds Free Coffee Giveaway Starts Monday
Coffee, java, wake-up juice – whatever you call it, you can get a free cup of it at McDonalds on Monday.
The fast-food chain will offer free small cups of coffee between March 31 and April 13 as part of its first national Free Coffee Event. Customers need only go to a McDonalds restaurant during normal breakfast hours to receive their free cup of McCafe coffee at participating restaurants.
“McDonald’s has long been part of the Greater Washington, DC community, and we wanted to show our appreciation by inviting guests to start their mornings with a complimentary cup of McCafé Coffee,” said Nick Nerangis, Jr., local McDonald’s Owner and Operator, in a press release. “We are proud of our McCafé Coffee and encourage our community to experience the delicious taste of McCafé firsthand.”
The free coffee event comes as McDonalds looks to build awareness for its McCafe brand launched in 2009. Tastings and samplings will also be held at locations with a high amount of commuter traffic.
In addition to coffee, the restaurant also lattes and mochas, blended-ice beverages including smoothies and frappes.
