NOKESVILLE, Va. – Train traffic along a Norfolk-Southern owned and operated rail line was shut down this afternoon after several brush fires broke out.

Trains that use the line in Nokesville, near Manassas, were halted so fire crews could douse the blazes, according to initial reports. Several hay bales in the area of Va. 28 and Nokesville Road had caught fire. There’s no word yet on how the blaze began.
