Body Found Near Transit Center Not Suspicious

WOODBRIDGE, Va. -- Police in are investigating a body found in Woodbridge nearby a commuter bus terminal.

Police said said the case does not appear to be suspicious. Initial reports indicate police were called to an area near the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission’s Transit Center on Potomac Mills Road, near Dale Boulevard, today to investigate the discovery of the body.

Several homeless encampments are known to be in the woods surrounding the transit center, and a summer cooling shelter, which is frequented the homeless, operates next door to the transit center.
