Freeze, Frost Could Put Plants at Risk Tonight
Temperatures are forecast to dip below 30 degrees in the Potomac Communities after midnight, according to the National Weather Service. That’s cold enough to kill crops and cause plants left outdoors to freeze.
It may not get cold enough to freeze overnight in Stafford County, but a frost advisory has been issued and sensitive vegetation could still be at risk, stated the weather service.
Temperatures on Saturday will be in the mid 60s, and a warming trend sets in on Sunday and Monday with temperatures in the mid 70s.
