AQUIA HARBOUR, Va. — A dog got its paw stuck in a pipe while getting a bath from its owner today. Fire and recue crews were called to help get fido’s paw free.
It happened about 10 a.m. when crews from fire station nine at Aquia Harbour in North Stafford were called to a home in the gated community.
The dog was not injured when he got his paw stuck in bathtub drain, but crews did use a lubricant to free its paw.
“They were giving the dog a bath, and they didn’t know exactly who to call,” stated an Aquia Harbour police spokesman.
The neighborhood’s police department is funded by the neighborhood its officers patrol, and fire and recue services from station nine are provided by Stafford fire and rescue.
