Fall Writers’ Workshop

Write by the Rails (WbtR), the Prince William Chapter of the Virginia Writer’s Club, is pleased to announce its fall writers’ workshop to be held October 12, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal, 9325 West Street, Manassas, Va. Co-sponsored by the Northern Virginia Writers Club, the workshop will feature guest speakers on independent publishing, traditional publishing, marketing and selling. A panel on children’s literature will answer questions on development, publishing, marketing and more. Networking, writing time, an open mic, time to shop for books by local authors and a boxed lunch are included.

“Our workshops have become very popular, not only because they are easily accessible to Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park, but because our speakers offer insight from some of the most talented, successful writers in our region,” said club president Katherine Gotthardt. “Writers of all levels and geographic areas are invited to come learn, write, read, network and shop.”

Reservations may be made at www.WbtR.org through PayPal or by check. WbtR and Northern Virginia Writers Club members are asked to contribute $25, non-members $30.
