Gary Heflin, 80, passed away on December 3 in Woodbridge. Mr. Heflin was born on November 30, 1935, in Washington, D.C.

His parents were Nellie Estelle Colvin Heflin and Carroll Benton Heflin known as “Reuben” both originally of Catlett, Fauquier County.

Mr. Heflin was predeceased by his parents and his brothers Oscar Heflin and Edd Heflin, both of Arlington. He is survived by a sister, Virginia Rumph Neyhouse and by a number of nephews, nieces, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, cousins, and friends and acquaintances. A graveside service will be held at Catlett Methodist Cemetery on Route 28 on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at 11 a.m. Pastor John Clair will officiate.
