McClung-Logan to Host 40th Annual Customer Appreciation Oyster Roast in Fredericksburg
McClung-Logan Equipment Company is hosting its 40th Annual Oyster Roast, a signature customer appreciation event celebrating tradition, community, and generosity.
This year’s milestone celebration will take place on Thursday, March 6th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fredericksburg Agricultural Fairgrounds.
The first Oyster Roast began as a fundraiser in 1985, led by White Oak Equipment founder Frank McCarty, to raise donations for an employee battling cancer. This turned into a time-honored tradition for individuals facing hardship.
The upcoming event is particularly special as it honors Nikolas “Niko” Curtis, a spirited 9-year-old recently diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer. Proceeds from the Oyster Roast will directly help cover Niko’s medical treatments and provide vital support to his family.
This year’s festivities will be the biggest and best yet, featuring:
• The largest prize raffle in the event’s history
• Expanded food and drink offerings, including oysters, BBQ, and more
• Exciting new equipment showcase
• A special tribute to Frank McCarty
